Chronus Corporation, a Washington corporation (“Chronus”) operates this site on behalf of a company or organization you are employed by, a member of, or otherwise affiliated with (the “Organization”).

This Privacy Policy describes:

  1. What information we collect from you;
  2. How we use your information;
  3. How we protect your information; and
  4. General privacy policies and provisions.

  1. What Information We Collect From You.
  2. Chronus collects and securely stores information on behalf of the Organization you are affiliated with, and for the sole purpose of facilitating the services available on this site (the “Site”). Chronus may collect such information, including Personal Information (as defined below), in a number of different ways. For example, Chronus collects all registration information when you sign up for the services available on this Site. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, and physical address. Additionally, Chronus also collects the information you provide when you create your user profile, interact on the Site, leave comments, or other such activities. Please note – Chronus collects information you may even consider private communications (e.g., communications between you and your mentor/mentee).

    For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means information that specifically indentifies you (such as your name, password, phone number, email address, street address, or date of birth). Chronus also collects non-personally identifying information such as the organization you are a member of, or the city you live in. Such information is considered “Personal Information” when it is combined with other identifiers such as your name or phone number.

    When you use this Site, Chronus’s servers automatically collect information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your computer’s operating system, your browser type, the address of a referring website, and other similar information. Chronus also collects non-identifying information such as traffic volume, frequency of visits, lengths of visits, etc. Such information is not linked to you or your account; rather, such information is aggregated and solely used to help Chronus improve its services (such information is collectively referred to as “Log Data.”). Chronus also collects information through the use of “cookies.” Generally, cookies are small data files that are stored on a hard drive at the request of a website to enable the website to recognize pervious visitors and pull-up that user’s preferences or other information.

  3. How We Use Your Information.
  4. Chronus uses all information it collects, including Personal Information, for the exclusive purposes of operating this Site and improving the Site’s features and services. Chronus does not own any of the information we collect (with the exception of Log Data); rather, Chronus stores and secures the information we collect on behalf of the Organization. This means that Chronus does not, subject to the exceptions stated below, sell, lease, transfer, distribute, or otherwise convey any Personal Information to any Third Parties whatsoever.

    THIS SITE PROVIDES AREAS FOR “PRIVATE MENTORING & TALENT DEVELOPMENT ENGAGEMENTS INCLUDING PRIVATE JOURNALS”. THESE AREAS ARE TRULY PRIVATE, AND ARE NOT REVIEWED BY CHRONUS OR THE ORGANIZATION UNLESS CHRONUS OR THE ORGANIZATION REASONABLY BELIEVES ACCESS AND REVIEW OF SUCH AREAS AND INFORMATION IS NECESSARY TO PREVENT OR REDUCE HARM OR LIABILITY. USER ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES TO SUCH ACCESS AND REVIEW FOR THE PURPOSES DESCRIBED HEREIN.

    Exceptions to Transfer of Personal Information

    In the event Chronus sells substantially all of its assets to a third-party acquirer (or merges with such third-party), information, including your Personal Information, will likely be transferred to the acquirer. Likewise, in the event Chronus goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, such information would likely be transferred to a third party acquiring the assets.

    Chronus may release Personal Information when it believes in good faith that the release is necessary to comply with the law; enforce the terms of use of the Site, this Privacy Policy, or any other agreement; or to protect the rights and safety of Chronus, its employees, this Site’s users, or other third parties as reasonably determined.

    Chronus may provide information, including Personal Information, to third-party vendors, consultants, or other service providers (“Service Providers”) for the purposes of operating this Site or improving its services. Chronus will only share such information to the extent necessary for the Service Providers to carry out their work for us.

    You acknowledge and agree to the transfer of information, including Personal Information, as described in the foregoing section.

  5. How We Protect Your Information.
  6. Chronus strives to completely secure your Personal Information from all unauthorized access, use, or disclosure by putting in place industry standard physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect through the Site. Please be aware, however, that despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. To help ensure the confidentiality of your Personal Information, please keep your password confidential and do not disclose it to any other person.
